PHILIPP The Reading Award

In the context of the ‘Moving on with Reading’ campaign, OMV and the Buchklub are looking for the best reading projects that make people read together: in pairs, in a group, in a class, in school, but also in social networks, at home, in town or in the district. 100 valuable media and book packages, 9 top prizes and 4 PHILIPP Reading Awards can be won!

All schools and other institutions (e.g. kindergartens, libraries, and municipalities) are invited to present reading projects. The projects have to be carried out in the 2009/2010 school year or started in the 2010/2011 school year.
Projects that are carried out in the 2009/2010 school year can be submitted by July 16, 2010 (by e-mail or regular mail).

For projects that you wish to start in the 2010/2011 school year, there is an extended submission deadline of October 1, 2010.

Prizes

• 100 media packages: 100 of the projects in Austria selected by the jury will receive a media and book package from the Buchklub worth EUR 300.00 each.
• 9 nominations: Three projects are nominated from each of the three categories and will win valuable top prizes donated by OMV.
• 4 awards: During the concluding reading gala event, a PHILIPP Reading Award will be given to one of the nominated projects in each category. In addition, an international project will receive an award.
