Reading Day 2010
A complete success!
New, record participation in the 7th country-wide Reading Day: more than 9,000 readers, among whom were 900 politicians and 150 well-known public figures from the media, sport, society and culture.
For the seventh time, the Stiftung Lesen and the weekly newspaper, DIE ZEIT, together with their main partner, the Deutsche Bahn, initiated the country-wide Reading Day which was held on 26 November 2010. The idea: everyone who takes pleasure in reading to others, reads on this particular day – for example, in schools, kindergartens, libraries or in bookshops…
This project has been successfully completed and is no longer active.
This project is run by Stiftung Lesen (Germany)
