Reading Week
Reading Week celebrates the pleasure of reading aloud. Each year, in March, different kinds of creative events take place all over the country.
Schools, libraries, cultural centres, museums and community associations are invited to organise different kinds of cooperative events, establishing partnerships and inviting writers, illustrators, journalists, actors, family members, local personalities, to join in and participate. The National Reading Plan collects and presents information about events and initiatives that take place in different regions of the country.
The 5th edition of the Reading Week joined the UNESCO celebration of the International Year of Forests, promoting a contest about the relation between Books/Reading and Forest.
