Ride for Reading Tour
Ride for Reading is a non-independent foundation by name within the Stiftung Lesen. By means of charity cycle tours, Ride for Reading wishes to impart pleasure in reading for children and increase media competence.
Reading media clubs will be established in conjunction with the Stiftung Lesen using the donations received. In total, 13 reading media clubs already exist in the Cologne/Bonn area in addition to one in Berlin.
Each summer there is a major cycle tour in several stages; the 2011 Tour, from Berlin to Bonn, was held from 23 July to 30 July.
This project is run by Stiftung Lesen (Germany)
