The Art of Reading Aloud
At the heart of Jukibuz’s quarterly programme inviting children and young people to read is the ‘Art of Reading Aloud’ seminar for 10 to 14-year-olds. Here they learn to read a text, understand it and read it out loud. This includes, of course, learning the right breathing technique, slow and clear articulation, body language, facial expression and a public appearance.
Particular attention is focused on promoting reading at an early age in order to awaken young children’s interest and pleasure in books and keeping this alive. Parents and educators play an important role in this process, and Jukibuz supports their educational reading concepts.
