Youth Reads
Youth Reads is a one year, media pedagogic reading promotion project from the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung – together with the Stiftung Lesen.
For the duration of one year, the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, one of Germany’s leading newspapers, and the Stiftung Lesen wish to support teachers in designing lessons which are both diversified and simultaneously current and up-to-date. From February 2011 to January 2012, 100 classes can participate in the programme.
The FAZ and the Stiftung Lesen are offering teachers and their pupils the possibility of obtaining information daily about political, economic or cultural connections and relationships. The wide-ranging thematic spectrum of the FAZ and its high quality simultaneously offer a well-founded basis for interdisciplinary lessons.
This project is run by Stiftung Lesen (Germany)
